Amsterdam, 19th October 2010 – Infradata will implement and maintain Gamania’s network appliances. Gamaia is one of Asia’s largest online gaming providers. The company will launch its activities in Europe and chooses Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as location for its datacenters. Gamania selected Infradata as its partner for routing, switching, load balancing and security. Infradata will implement among other things Juniper Networks solutions and Citrix Systems in Gamania’s datacenters.

Firstly, Gamania will launch five online games on the European and American market and in the short term the company plans to extend this number. In order to execute this mission successfully, Gamania will collaborate with Infradata for the integration of network appliances of various suppliers. The company chooses Amsterdam as its business location, because the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) is the most important internet exchange on the European mainland. In Europe, the online gaming provider specifically focuses on countries like Germany, France and Great Britain.

Ethan Chen, Director IT Infrastructure Division for Gamania: “In Europe we were looking for a partner with wide experience in the field of datacenter infrastructures. Another requirement from our side was knowledge of a number of renowned brands. Infradata exactly fits that picture. With the support of Infradata we can confidently launch our online games at the European market.”

“Asian countries are the avant garde in online gaming. Gamania is one of the first Asian online gaming companies trying to also conquer Europe and the United States. As a partner we are proud to be able to contribute to that mission. The new network of Gamania will be scalable, so the company can grow fast in Europe,” said Simon de Heer, Sales Executive for Infradata.
